If you want to run automatic campaigns that never change and churn out automatically having taken ten minutes to set up sorry to say, you are not going to get very far with cold email.
That having been said a tool like Lemlist does do a lot of the heavy lifting for you, and it certainly takes away the legal headaches that can come along with cold email as it almost forces you to stay on the right side of the law.

The biggest thing about Lemlist that we love, and has made it a tool that we have adopted across the team is the personalization features it offers.
Sure, all email tools let you personalize the text to a certain degree, but if you are sending cold email you have to stand out in the recipients email box right away. In seconds. And an image is a great way to do that. And Lemlist’s superpower is that it allows you to create personalized images – for every recipient on your list – from within the tool and without having to struggle with an image editor.
Why is this such a game changer? Because think about it. What would you do if a stranger
sent you an e-mail with a cute or funny picture that mentions your name, your business’ name or your website?
The answer is that you will be more inclined to read it, even if it is just out of curiosity. And we’ve found that people are more likely to respond. A personalized image, as corny as this is going to sound, shows you care.
Your prospect has no idea that you didn’t spend more than a few seconds to create that image and even the toughest business person will feel at least a little bit flattered that

We have continued to find new ways to make use of these features and we have seen good, often great results, just by making use of such a seemingly simple technique. Simple, but very smart. Sending cold outreach e-mails are all about building relationships instead of selling right away.
EASY, FUN INTERFACE

No product is ever perfect, and Lemlist is no exception. If you are, having got to this point in our review, considering trying it for yourself here’s a look at what we have found to be the biggest pros and cons about Lemlist to keep in mind as you decide.
Pro: The Personalization Advantage
We can’t state this often enough; personalisation is one of the biggest keys to cold email success. Making sure that the copy you use is customized for each recipient is something you can do in any email tool, but the image personalization feature in Lemlist is a unique twist. It’s not just a gimmick, it really does help to create emails that look and feel more authentic, especially to the recipient.
Pro: Great Support
The level of support provided by Lemlist really is stellar. Some might say that because it’s a smaller concern (right now) that is likely to change as it grows, but we haven’t seen that so far.
CON: THE BUDDY DISTRACTION
In Lemlist contacts are described as ‘buddies to be’. While we appreciate the fun sentiment it can make the user interface a little more confusing for some. But this is a minor gripe.
CON: THE HIGHER TIER PRICING MAY BE A BIT MUCH FOR SOME
Like the majority of SAAS products Lemlist’s pricing is tiered. And going up to personalized videos from just personalized images is a huge leap in terms of cost -$34 vs. $500 a month. We’d like to see that pricing disparity addressed because $500 is a lot off money for a smaller agency or single entrepreneur to find, so we can only assume a lot of people just are not getting to try out the video tool at all.
THE FINAL PEARL LEMON LEADS VERDICT ON LEMLIST
The cold email outreach space is filled with half-baked products, but Lemlist really stands out. The team behind it stand behind their product and have made lots of improvements since we first started using it. It’s not the only cold email tool we use, as sometimes larger projects call for something more complex, but it is a tool that we use very often and are pleased with overall.
